I used to be really cynical about love; having been bought up with people that felt that way but it's odd how opinions can change by one person walking into your life and changing the way you think and feel about everything and everyone.
For me, it's him.
On that level, I've begun to question who or what it is exactly that you fall in love with. Most people that I speak to tell me that the physical aspect of a relationship isn't the most important, that the emotional or mental aspect is; therefore how can a person have a 'sexuality'? The only thing that differentiates males and females in relationships (essentially) is the physical side. If it truly is the person that you fall in love with and not the 'reproductive organs' surely it doesn't matter what their gender is?
Equally, there are people that think age is an issue; age is just a number. If the people are truly in love why should it matter if one is 20 and one is 40? If the emotional support and the relationship is strong enough why should age play any part whatsoever?
I guess what I'm trying to say here is that anyone should be able to fall in love with anyone regardless of anything else. It's society that dictate who should fall in love with whom and how they should show that. It's wrong and people should understand that and not be dictated by that.
For now; bye bye.
